isTraceStart

public static boolean isTraceStart(org.deckfour.xes.model.XEvent e)

This method tells whether the given event is the tagged as the first event of a stream

Parameters:

e - an event

Returns:

true if the event is tagged as the first event of a trace, false otherwise

isTraceComplete

public static boolean isTraceComplete(org.deckfour.xes.model.XEvent e)

This method tells whether the given event is the tagged as the last event of a stream

Parameters:

e - an event

Returns:

true if the event is tagged as the last event of a trace, false otherwise

fromMillisecToStringDuration

public static java.lang.String fromMillisecToStringDuration(long duration)

This method converts a time duration, expressed in milliseconds, into a human readable version (e.g. "5 seconds", "6,7 hours", "12 days").

Parameters:

duration - the time duration, expressed in milliseconds

Returns:

a string representation of the duration

inRange

public static boolean inRange(int value,
                              int left,
                              int right)

This method check if, given a value, it's inside the interval defined by its left and right area

Parameters:

value - the value to be checked

left - the leftmost bound

right - the rightmost bound

Returns:

true if the given value is inside the interval

inRectangle

public static boolean inRectangle(java.awt.Point p,
                                  java.awt.Rectangle r)

This method check if, given a point, it's inside the given rectangle

Parameters:

p - the point to be checked

r - the rectangle bound

Returns:

true if the given value is inside the interval

getCaseID

This method, given a trace, returns its case id

Parameters:

t - the given trace

Returns:

the case id associated with the trace

getActivityName

This method, given an event, returns the name of the activity

Returns:

the name of the activity of the event
