Implementation of 10-fold cross-validation and cosine similarity for determining the similarity of two parts of a process log.

Danny van Heumen This plugin implements a 10-fold cross-validation mechanism to verify the similarity of 1 part of the log vs. the other parts of the log. The similarity is determined using a common method for determining similarity: cosine similarity. The idea is that if all parts of the log are very similar, then the log would (largely) complete. In the case that the log would be (very) incomplete, we will either encounter unknown elements, or known elements but in relative ratios that deviate from the remainder of the log. Any of these deviations would decrease the similarity.
